Carol Winterburn has lived on the Thames Coast since 2007, as well as holidaying for many years in the surrounding Coromandel area. She has four grownup children and seven grandchildren.
After spending years in the hospitality and tourism trade, Carol began her career in real estate in 1993 in the Taupo/Turangi area and, more recently, in the Thames and Thames Coast region. Naturally, over this time, she has built up an excellent knowledge of marketing and selling real estate.
While Carol and her husband, Paul were based in the central North Island, Paul managed two large farms and Carol marketed real estate. They changed their lifestyle, moved up to the Coromandel and currently own and operate a successful fishing charter business, Top Shelf Charters, which is based in Tapu.
When time permits, Carol loves oil and pastel painting, cooking, fishing and other local recreational pursuits that are offered in the Coromandel area.
Carol spends a lot of time familiarising herself with the latest technology and has complied a concise database of qualified purchasers just waiting for the right property to come on the market. Her industry is globally advertised now with the help of the internet and electronic mail, a computer, iPhone and iPad are some of her main tools.
Her personal philosophy is to do her best and to offer her clients the type of service she would expect to receive herself with honesty and integrity.
‘My aim is to sell your property for the highest price in the shortest possible time, with the least amount of destruction to you or your family.’
