Carolyn Howden was born in Invercargill and has lived most of her life in Southland and Otago. She is married to Lester, and has two adult children and two grandchildren.
Over the years, she and Lester worked on and managed sheep, beef and deer properties, before moving into the dairy industry and getting involved with share-milking on a large dairy farm, employing up to six staff. After leaving the dairy industry, they purchased a property in Winton and Carolyn began working for Jeannie at the Winton Bakery, where she made many good friends and developed her people skills. With Lester’s work being based in Gore, they decided to settle there and make it their new home.
They have bought and sold numerous properties, from sections to lifestyle blocks to houses, and Carolyn knows the difference that a good real estate salesperson can make, as many people find buying and selling very stressful. Carolyn still does the accounts for her son’s building company, and believes this knowledge of the building industry will also assist her in selling real estate.
What she wants from her new career in real estate is a successful business for herself, while having happy clients and customers, who recommend her to their family and friends because she has achieved good results for them. She knows that with the help of the experienced and successful PGG Wrightson Real Estate team in Gore and Invercargill, she will be able to succeed too.
Carolyn works hard to achieve positive results, and she is honest and dedicated, ensuring that clients and customers will have an enjoyable real estate experience.
