Geoffrey Young has lived and farmed in the Western and Northern Southland districts for 40 years.
He was brought up on the family property in Western Southland where they intensively farmed sheep and beef. His great love of farming, dogs, horses and the wide open spaces led him to purchase a high country station in Northern Southland in 1993. He has bought and sold a number of blocks of land and houses over the years and this, combined with his wealth of experience in business and much involvement in community organisations, gives him pride in his honesty, integrity and passion for dealing with people. Any moments of spare time are taken up with dog trials, boating and musical theatre, to name a few.
With the station in the capable hands of his son and staff, Geoffrey has taken a step back from the coalface of farming and moved north to the sunshine and warmth of the Northland people. He looks forward to meeting new friends and prospective clients, and helping them to strive forward in the exciting times of buying and selling real estate.
