Martin van Dooren has been involved in the rural sector since 1980 in the East Coast and Wairoa district having worked hands-on as a shepherd, stock manager, contract fencer and building sheep, cattle and deer yards. During this time, he has also cut scrub and managed various back country contracts with the Department of Conservation.
Martin started his real estate career in 2000 beginning in Gisborne, then transferring to Hawke’s Bay and now in the Wairoa district dealing with urban, lifestyle, pastoral farming, horticulture, vineyards and cropping land. This has stood him in good stead, achieving some record prices during that period on properties entrusted to his care.
Martin’s building qualifications coupled with his past hands-on farming involvement in the Wairoa district and his sales experience have given him a broad base to draw on during his real estate career.
With the PGG Wrightson recognised rural brand and technology and proven systems, he can offer a quality professional service to achieve the best results for his clients. The marketing plans and systems available that can be tailored to the individual properties and owners’ requirements, coupled with his persistence, energy, integrity, time and commitment can give vendors confidence in listing and selling their property with Martin.
