Tony Paterson has been selling real estate since 2010 and enjoys the challenge of assisting his clients achieve their property goals.

Tony began his sales career in 2002 joining Southland Farmers Limited as a sheep, beef and deer livestock representative and progressing through the subsequent mergers with Reid Farmers, Pyne Gould Guinness and finally PGG Wrightson. It was at the time of the PGW merger that Tony transitioned into the dairy livestock team and then selling real estate in 2010.

Tony lives at Lumsden in Northern Southland where his family have been farming since 1942. Having attended the local college, Tony then worked on sheep, beef, deer and arable farms within the Southland district before working in the shearing industry and operating a contracting business. In the meantime, he was managing the family farm, which he converted to a dairy farm in 2008.

Tony and Lisa have three children, Matt, Taylor and Meg, who all enjoy what Southland has to offer and, in particular, hunting, fishing and boating. They have also been keen participants in their chosen sports of either rugby or netball.

With practical skills and a working knowledge of the different farming types in Southland, Tony’s experience will ably assist anyone looking to achieve their property goals.
