Allan Cameron has been in real estate continuously since 1972.
Allan obtained his Certificate of Approval as a Real Estate Salesperson in 1972, specialising in rural real estate sales and, in 1990, he became an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (AREINZ).
Starting work in the stock and station industry with Wright, Stephenson and Co Ltd in Hamilton in 1957, he came to Gisborne in 1966, employed as a stock agent and auctioneer for Gisborne Sheep Farmers Mercantile Co Ltd. Through a series of some five mergers and name changes, he became an employee of Wrightson Real Estate, acting as the real estate sales manager for all of those companies. During that time, he was involved in the sales of some of the bigger stations and farms in the Poverty Bay area. He retired from PGG Wrightson Real Estate in 2005 and started his own real estate business then worked for two other real estate companies.
Allan now returns to PGG Wrightson Real Estate to offer his experience and service to his former clients and their next generation.
