Angela Thomas has recently joined the Real Estate team at PGG Wrightson, bringing a wealth of attributes.
Brought up in the hospitality and travel industries, Angela’s strength is customer service. She was fortunate to have a job in the aviation industry as an air stewardess spanning 20 years, 12 of which were spent in corporate aviation.
In 2012, Angela joined Mitre 10 as a hospitality manager for the Columbus Coffee franchise that all Mitre 10 megastores have within them. Angela was responsible for setting up, recruiting, managing and initiating ways to grow the business. Angela was responsible for opening four stores in Rotorua, Cambridge, Christchurch and Hamilton. In 2013, her Rotorua and Hamilton stores shared the Columbus Coffee Best Local Marketing Award for the People’s Choice category.
When not at work, you will find Angela at home relaxing with her family or at a sporting fixture. The whole family are keen supporters of Chiefs rugby and Northern Knights cricket. Also a keen equestrian, having produced and shown horses to a national level, and competing in many disciplines including ridden hunter, working hunter, side saddle equitation and sports horse classes. Angela has also had a small equine rehabilitation/agistment unit, with horses coming to her from all over the country, mostly from racehorse trainers, eventers and the metropolitan police. Angela enjoys the outdoor life and country pursuits and, as a family, the Thomases certainly embrace everything this beautiful country has to offer.
Angela’s property experience comes from buying and selling property with her husband and, in doing so, they have built up a substantial rental property portfolio. Having been on both sides of the fence of property deals, Angela believes that she is well versed in looking after the needs and expectations of both clients and customers. Real estate is about people and Angela's aim is to create the ultimate customer/client experience, consisting of excellent customer service, constant communication, attention to detail and, above all, ensuring a positive experience for all parties in the buying and selling process.
