Originally from Southland, Barb O’Neill-Nolan has a business and management background in daily newspapers and commercial print. This is where she learnt the importance of attention to detail and is most definitely where she sharpened her negotiation skills.
Barb began her career in the dairy industry by sharemilking on her own account for four years in Southland. She then moved to the West Coast, bought a dairy farm in Whataroa with Dave Nolan and raised a family. Clients know that when advising on rural properties, Barb “knows her stuff”.
Barb has successfully been selling residential, lifestyle and rural real estate in Westland since 2010 and has built her reputation on providing trustworthy, well-researched advice to her clients. She never underestimates the importance of being knowledgeable about exactly what is happening in her patch.
Along with her husband, David, who specializes in rural real estate, they have built a comprehensive database of clients and agents that ensures each property receives maximum exposure to qualified buyers.
Barb believes that being successful in real estate is not just about selling, it’s about meeting expectations. She thrives on achieving outcomes that both buyers and vendors are impressed with and this is what gives her the drive to succeed.
