Trust Tom to deliver when selling your property.
Farming is in the blood - being brought up on a sheep and beef farm, Tom O'Sullivan has always had a strong affinity with farming from day one.
After completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Lincoln University, Tom had a successful agribusiness career, in various senior export marketing and management positions around New Zealand.
In 2009, Tom took the opportunity to return to farming when the family purchased a 3,000 acre sheep and cattle property, Pukenui Station, in Central Hawke’s Bay.
“A move back to farming, especially the unfamiliar challenges of running a large Hawke’s Bay hill country property, has been a steep learning curve but a challenge that I thoroughly enjoy.”
Having successfully implemented an impressive growth plan for the business and a great team to deliver on it, Tom has made the decision to utilize his considerable experience in real estate. Tom’s passion and understanding of farming in Hawke's Bay, along with his strong marketing and commercial skills, have given him a great insight into what is marketable about farms and lifestyle properties.
“When you have hands-on experience and are passionate about people and property, it makes it much easier to sell.”
Outside of work, Tom keeps busy raising his two young daughters, Ruby and Tessa, with partner, Rachel. Tom also volunteers as a Big Brother Big Sister mentor, offering one-to-one mentoring to disadvantaged youth in Hawke's Bay. As a keen sportsperson, in any spare time he has, he can often be found playing squash and tennis, or mountain-biking on Te Mata Peak.
