This improved section is situated in the beautiful village of Tuai, in Northern Hawke's Bay.
The elevated section sits at the end of a short cul de sac, above picturesque Lake Whakamarino, at the edge of the glorious Urewera National Park. Lake Whakamarino (also known as Lake Tuai) is an exceptional lake, very popular with fisherfolk, as there is an abundance of brown and rainbow trout. The angler season starts on the 1st October. Hunting in the nearby Te Urewera is a sought-after experience for keen hunters.
A garage sits on the concrete foundation footprint, providing undercover storage, with power and town supply water connections in place. There is an outhouse that is connected to the town sewage system, and there is a certified power supply box on site.
It is a fantastic base for families, hunters and fisherfolk, with all the comforts you need, all year round. For families, this is glamping at its best!
What makes this section just a bit special is the track that leads down the side of the section to the crystal-clear river below. It's less than a minutes' walk from the property to the burbling waters below - it's fairly brisk, temperature wise but very accessible. What a super fun spot for the kids!
