The Gospel Hall was a building erected for the use of the community, by the Bretheran, records The Herald correspondent, in the Wairoa News column. Opened on ANZAC day in 1933, to a crowd of over 500 people, the Herald correspondent notes that the building is well braced and tied with steel sufficient to withstand earthquake shocks.
Who doesn't love a bit of local history. This honest building has plenty of history and all the potential. The 127 sqm building is residentially zoned and available for residential occupancy. The new fit out includes a kitchen and a bathroom, two small rooms, the fabulous main hall space and a laundry space, set behind closed doors.
The top to bottom firewall at the rear of the Hall safely separates the Hall from the rear dwelling at 8b Lahore Street (also available for purchase), the Rally Hall.
And the pièce de résistance? The 16 grid-tied PV solar panels and the Storion SMILE 5 Hybrid inverter, powering the Gospel Hall with the sun's energy. Turn that heatpump on!
