About Craig Bates

Craig Bates has an extensive background in the real estate industry, spanning over three decades.

Craig began his career in the stock and station industry in Otago in the late 1970’s, working as a stock agent with Reid Farmers. In the late 1980’s Craig transitioned into the real estate sector. Over the years, he has taken on various roles, including business owner, company manager and auctioneer. Currently Craig serves as the Otago/Southland Sales Manager at PGG Wrightson Real Estate, where he oversees operations and ensures the highest standards of service.

Craig has a deep understanding of the Otago region and its real estate market. His expertise covers a wide range of areas. Known for his honesty and integrity, Craig prioritises achieving the best possible outcome for his clients. His extensive experience allows him to provide valuable insights and guidance throughout the buying and selling process.

Outside of his professional life, Craig is an avid mountain biker and serves as the race director for the Naseby 12-hour bike race. Craig is married to Raylene and has two adult sons and a grandson, reflecting his strong family values.
