She grew up on a sheep and beef farm from Taihape and now lives on one in Stanway on Makino Road. It’s an early start for Marie Frost. Long before her clients see her tidily dressed and talking real estate, Marie is in wet weather gear and gumboots, tending to 120 calves and discussing with her partner stock movements over the 500-acre farm on Makino Road, Stanway.
As a rural, farm and lifestyle real estate agent, Marie gets to talk about her favourite things all day. Being intimately involved in farming gives Marie an easy introduction to people in rural areas around the region; Halcombe, Rongotea, Taihape, Marton and Bulls.
Marie says getting into real estate was a pretty natural progression after being made redundant from Property and Commercial Insurance Brokers in Feilding.
