Wills Buchanan

Home for Wills has always been the Ongaonga family farm.

This has given him a very good understanding of the Central Hawke’s Bay area which he is proud to be an active part of.

Following the completion of a Commerce Degree majoring in marketing from Otago university, he spent five years of extensive intrepid travel interspersed with three seasons harvesting in Western and Eastern Australia.

The pull of all things rural saw him return home to the family farm he now manages with the help of his father. It is a mix of bull beef, arable and lamb finishing.

In his free time, Will’s interests include water skiing, golf and being an active member of the Ongaonga volunteer fire brigade.
